Qualcosa di bello, that is exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote this haiku. When my youngest son was very young [he's now 26] he loved to bring me rocks which I treasured...I have one of his treasured stones by my computer. Now you know why it was so easy for me to write that haiku.
I'm so glad it brought you the same warm feelings it does me.
Well done. I really enjoyed "small hand wrapped"; it reminded me of the flowers picked just under the head or with little stem that my littlest one brings home. Whenever she finds granite she calls it "a crystal" and treats it like gold! jodi barone
So very true, Tumblewords...it's so wonderful to see those little hands bringing you a treasure.
Thank you so much, Jodi for sharing that story...it gave me the warmest feeling as though I can see your little one doing that...how precious children are.

Ah, how nice! So many rocks perfectly fit a child's hand!
