Back many years ago when I was very active in the New York city poetry community, we used to call poems like yours "haikuesques.":-)

I really like it, by the way. It has a very haiku-like feel due to that contrast between mud and the beauty of frost.

That's really wonderful. The thought of decorating a mud puddle has my heart leaping. I love it.

simple and to the point. I do like the idea of doing haiku in the none-traditional way. Nicely done.
