Oh how hard it is to persuade the professor courting destiny
It is a poem and haikuish even. Rosexo
cute. i loved school. i was not the studious though.
Professors are a tough lot...cute poem!
i have found the words... "i never make excuses for my behavior" to be the surest way to quell the majority of excuse seekers...
...and if the teacher pops a test, I know I'm in a mess and the dog ate all my homework last night...Sigh, OK, no more SBTB for me.Still though, this made me laugh.
Susan, nor was I. ;)TW, I could tell you a story about just how unfair they are too but I will not go into it.Paisley, so true but we usually do not figure that out until we are out of school.TC, soooo, you were one of those, the dog ate my homework types. I'm glad I made you laugh.
We've all been there!!HAHAHA that was a sweet poem.
Oh yeah, been there, done that.Fun read indeed.UL
Being a teacher, I know this only too well!rootedreading room
Truefaith, I'm glad my haiku made you laugh. :)UL, yes we certainly have all been there.gautami tripathy, I knew the teachers out there could validate this poem. LOL
I think absent and notebook definitely lend themselves to thoughts of school and a classroom. I was never good at excuses. People see right thru me :)
Same for me too, Bone. No one will ever accuse me of having a poker face.
I don't even remember all the excuses I tried to come up with now. But, I am sure of one thing, I know that the professor understood there was a lie in the middle of the lame excuse.
